John is missed dearly as he touched many of us with his music, stories, endearing personality and creative genius. He was an inspiration to me, and seeing him was always a highlight of my visits to Cape Breton. ~ He will always be a big part of Cape Breton and Cape Breton music to me. http://www.capebretonlive.com/news/20.htm
